The South Korean manufacturers, Samsung has introduced the fourth generation of their best selling and popular Galaxy Tab series to the world. The new series consists of Samsung Galaxy Tab4 7.0, Tab4 8.0 3G and Tab4 10.1. Out of these three, Samsung has launched only Galaxy Tab4 8.0 3G and Tab4 10.1 3G variant in the Indian marketplace. Following which, currently you couldn’t buy the Galaxy Tab4 7.0 variant in India.

Samsung Galaxy Tab4 7.0 sports a 7-inch WXGA TFT Multi-touch Screen display, which is capable of producing 16M colours at a resolution of 800 x 1280 pixels at 216 pixels per inch.
Whereas, the Samsung Galaxy Tab4 8.0 sports a bigger 8-inches TFT Capacitive Multi-touch screen display which also produces a resolution of 800 x 1280 pixels. However, the pixel density rate on this tab is only 189 pixels per inch.

For their operating system, both these tablets run on latest Google Android 4.4.2 KitKat OS out of the box. The latest operating system adds on the user experience on these devices. It also brings various new Apps and features on the tablet.

The biggest remarkable difference amongst these tablets arrives now. The Samsung Galaxy Tab4 7.0 doesn’t support voice call, SMS or MMS via a SIM card. Whereas, the Galaxy Tab4 8.0 3G (SM-T331) houses a 3G Micro-SIM Card Slot for voice calls, SMS, MMS and internet browsing.
